Do you need to renovate the roof of an old building or do you like to have a garden shed? Does the low slope of one of your roofs constitute a challenge?
We have the right product for you! Quality prevails! It is not for nothing that more than 50% of roof surfaces in Germany are covered with insulated and non-insulated profiled sheets.
Our range of services.
From us you get high-grade and very durable roof and wall cladding materials in metal – with and without integrated insulation. Our product portfolio also includes synthetic coloured and transparent light profiles for roof and wall adapted to the profile geometry of our metal sheets and panels. Flashings, screws, caps, sealing tape, special tools, repair paint and other accessories are available as well.
Of course, we offer custom-made sandwich panels, profiled sheets, light panels and flashings while our large outlet centres keep at your disposal stock items for immediate loading.
Of course, we can deliver all our products to your construction site at a reasonable price using our own fleet of vehicles.

Do you need an offer related to a concrete building project?
We will need some information from you: building use / intended purpose, roof shape(s), roof pitch(es), respective roof and wall surface for determining the needed quantity of the different products, coverage with integrated insulation (which core thickness?) or without, in case of profiled sheets without insulation appliance or not of an anti-condensation fleece, material thickness(es), length(s), colour(s), desired place(s) of delivery.
Do not forget the accessories. Please think about eventually needed flashings, fixing screws with sealing washers, sealing tapes, light panels and special tools. We look forward receiving your enquiry or phone call.
Are you happy with our quote?
If our offer meets your expectations, we would be very glad to receive your order! Before placing your order, please carefully check all offered items, quantities, lengths, colours and the invoice and delivery address. Please make sure that the payment terms you have chosen are respected. Depending on the type of product, the quantity and the season, delivery times may vary. Therefore, at the time when goods are ordered it is good to inform us about the desired delivery date.
Your goods are on the way.
Whether by road, rail, sea or air – our transport system helps the goods finding the best way to you. You will be advised by our logistics department about the planned delivery date 1-2 days in advance. The construction site must be freely accessible for trucks.
For unloading, please make sure a suitable forklift or another suitable lifting device, a crane equipped with a loadbeam or at least a sufficient number of people is at place. When unloading by hand, it has to be avoided that material surfaces are pulled over each other, as otherwise the coating could be damaged. Always carry the sheets edgewise. Protect your hands by wearing rubberised cut resistant gloves.

Collection of finished goods in one of our outlet centres.
On more than 170,000m² of storage space our direct selling points in the different countries of presence keep at your disposal finished-produced goods, 2A goods and special item packages and this in various designs, lengths, material thicknesses and colours with their accessories. Needless to mention that you can also get advice directly on site and take the goods immediately with you. As additional service for transporting the goods you have the possibility to rent a car trailer against a small fee.
Please be informed that loading is allowed solely on cargo beds or trailers in accordance with the statutory provisions. The loading on vehicle roofs is precluded.
Store the goods properly.
Should the products not be mounted just after delivery, it is important to store the goods in a proper way. This prevents the material from lasting damages caused by unfavourable environmental influences.
No matter whether the goods are made of metal or of plastic or whether the packaging material is cardboard or foil, storage in a covered, dry and well-ventilated place is optimal. If this is not possible standard coated profiled sheets, sandwich panels, flashings, flat sheets and light panels from O-METALL® can temporarily be stored outdoors. In this case the goods must be covered and stored in a sufficiently ventilated place. The following principles must be observed:
- Never store the goods directly on the ground, only on wooden timber or similar
- Always place the goods in an inclined position so that water that has penetrated can easily run off.
- Avoid exposure to weather and direct sunlight; in the case of light panels, this is absolutely necessary because of the “burning lens effect”.
- For storage periods of two weeks or longer, the goods must be stored in a dry, individually ventilated and covered area.
- If a protective film is affixed, it must be protected from direct sunlight and depending on weather conditions it has to be removed after 1 to 2 weeks at the latest.
- Cover stacks of light panels well ventilated with an opaque, light-coloured material. Heat accumulation and moisture are to be avoided. Do not place stacks on heated surfaces.
- Store cardboards in dry conditions.
Proper mounting of your roof and wall elements.
By choosing your customised O-METALL® premium product you have gone for a high-quality, very durable and highly functional product system. Notwithstanding, some very important basics have to be considered during mounting in order to guarantee the durability and functionality on a long term.
Depending on the product type, the size but also the complexity of your building project, please consider whether you carry out the installation works by yourself or with the help of a specialized company.
Under the menu Service/Mounting Instructions you will find some general tips and tricks about how to handle our standard products. Of course, in case of order, we can provide you with further details regarding the installation of the chosen product.
A long roof life with a maintenance contract.
While choosing for O-METALL® corrugated sheets and sandwich panels you have gone for a very high-quality, durable and low-maintenance product. Nevertheless, it is recommended to check the functionality of the roof and of the building walls in a regular manner. It is therefore advisable to have the gutter cleaned, the surrounding trees checked for dangers to the building envelope and to carry out a general inspection of the roof and wall surfaces at regular intervals.
