PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

The O-METALL^® Thermoplus panels for roof and wall offer the advantage of better thermal insulation and improved joint tightness in contrast to our high-quality standard sandwich panels. This can increase the energy efficiency of a building by up to 25% compared to conventional construction methods. In addition, the high quality corrossion protection, whose production emits 46% less CO₂ per kilogram of steel thanks to an innovative production process, contributes to the durability and sustainability. Thermoplus panels combine three important aspects of the building envelope in one product: They are made of a highly weather-resistant and extremely durable outer shell. The middle part consists of a ThermoPlus hard foam insulation core (PIR+) allowing a reduction of the required insulation core thickness by up to 15% in comparison to standard sandwich panels while offering the same insulation values. This is followed by an attractive, room-enclosing interior side, which is kept light as standard and can be used immediately as an interior ceiling or interior wall.
