INSTALLATION OF SANDWICH ROOF PANELS WITH SCREWS AND STORM WASHERS

To ensure a high level of watertightness, sandwich panels as well as profiled sheets and light panels that are screwed to the raised bead or top chord should be fastened with storm washer. These are made of corrosion-resistant aluminum and have a full-surface seal on the underside. This and the use of sealing screws permanently prevent water from entering the drill hole.

By increasing the contact surface, storm washers also increase the frictional connection between the sheet and the substructure and make the roof more resistant to extreme weather conditions.

In most cases, stainless steel sealing screws with a drill point are used to install our products. Our sealing screws are available in a wide range of variants for all common products and substructures, also available with matching painted screw heads on request.
