After a year of preparation, the time has finally come on 14 April (from 10:00 am) and 15 April (from 9:00 am). We look forward to welcoming you to the grand opening ceremony on these two days and to opening the new location in Heidweiler together with you. You can look forward to the presentation of the approx. 100,000m2 company premises and its numerous halls – filled to the brim with a very large selection of trapezoidal sheets, sandwich panels, flashings, light panels and a host of accessories.
Be excited about the numerous attractions for young and old. Enjoy the communal conversations with a cool drink and a portion of real Belgian fries, a bratwurst or a Schwenker and take part in our raffle with over 200 prizes.

Thanks to our central and convenient location between Bitburg, Daun, Idar-Oberstein, Prüm, Trier and Wittlich, our camp is easy and convenient to reach within a large radius. From Bitburg and Prüm, you can reach us via the A60 motorway exit Spangdahlem from Trier via Quint (L46) and from Koblenz and Wittlich via the A1 motorway exit Föhren. Heidweiler/ Naurath – Eifel: Die Unternehmensgruppe O-METALL hat das komplette ehemalige Bundeswehr Militärgelände in Heidweiler-Eifel erworben.
Auf dem Grundstück mit einer Größe von ca. 92.000 m² Brutto-Grundfläche befindet sich neben einem Verwaltungskomplex ein umfangreicher Hallenpark, welcher künftig von der O-METALL Gruppe als Lager-, Verkaufs- und Mietfläche genutzt wird. Das umzäunte Gelände liegt nahe an den Autobahnen A 60 (Ausfahrt Spangdahlem) und der A1 (Ausfahrt Föhren), die für den Standort eine optimale Verbindung in die benachbarten Bundesländer, aber auch nach Belgien, Luxemburg und Frankreich schaffen. Der Trierer Hafen sowie die Großregion Trier sind nur ca. 15 Minuten entfernt. Die Tiefwasserhäfen Antwerpen und Rotterdam sind in rund drei Stunden erreichbar.
„Mit dem Ankauf haben wir uns nicht nur ein Großgrundstück mit enormem Potenzial, sondern auch innerhalb der O-METALL Gruppe das bisher größte Investment in Deutschland gesichert“ sagt Caroline Oestges, Direktionsmitglied der O- METALL Gruppe. „Wir haben auf dem Areal einen attraktiven Ort für Logistik, Produktion und Verkauf von isolierten und nicht isolierten Dach und Wandelementen aus Metall, sowohl für große und mittelständische Unternehmen als auch für kleinteiliges Gewerbe und preisbewusste Selbstabholer geschaffen. Bei der Entwicklung dieses geschichtsträchtigen Standorts setzen wir auf eine enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeinde Heidweiler.“ Hans-Josef Götten, Ortsbürgermeister von Heidweiler in der Verbandsgemeinde Wittlich-Land fügt hinzu: „Die Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen und lokale wirtschaftliche Entwicklung sind für uns von zentraler Bedeutung.“
Die luxemburgische Unternehmensgruppe unterhält verschiedene Lagerorte in Europa, in Deutschland gleich mehrere Standorte, unter anderem ein Zentrallager in Dahme/Spreewald (Speckgürtel Berlin). Nach umfangreichen Planungen und Vorarbeiten sind alle vorgesehenen Arbeiten bis zur Eröffnung zu Jahresbeginn 2023 fertiggestellt worden.
Die offizielle Eröffnung in Verbindung mit Tagen der offenen Tür ist am 14. & 15.04.2023. Neben der Ausstellung unserer umfangreichen Produktpalette gibt es Vorführungen, Tombola, verschiedene Attraktionen und vieles mehr.
Für das leibliche Wohl ist selbstverständlich bestens gesorgt: Kühles Bier, erfrischende Softdrinks sowie leckere Grilladen. Der Erlös vom Verkauf der Speisen und Getränke geht an Annas Verein e.V. zur Förderung von Einrichtungen zur Behandlung krebskranker Kinder. Die jüngsten Besucher sollen natürlich auch nicht zu kurz kommen und können sich unter anderem auf Spielmobile, Kinderschminken, Rätselwettbewerb und eine bunte Hüpfburg freuen.
